U type Mosi2 Heating elemet
U-type Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSi₂) Heating Element is a high-performance electric heating device, playing a crucial role in numerous high-temperature industrial application fields. It is designed and manufactured based on the unique material properties of molybdenum disilicide and has a U-shaped structure. This shape design enables it to achieve more efficient uniform heating and heat transfer in specific heating equipment.
II. Material Properties
High Temperature Stability: Molybdenum disilicide exhibits excellent high-temperature performance with a melting point of around 2030℃, allowing it to work stably for a long time in high-temperature environments. In practical applications, U-type molybdenum disilicide heating elements can continuously and effectively provide heat within the high-temperature range of 1600℃ to 1800℃, meeting the requirements of various high-temperature heating processes.
Oxidation Resistance: Under high-temperature oxidizing atmospheres, a dense silicon dioxide (SiO₂) protective film will form on the surface of molybdenum disilicide. This protective film can effectively prevent oxygen from further eroding the internal molybdenum disilicide material, endowing the U-type heating element with excellent oxidation resistance and significantly prolonging its service life. Even under the working conditions of being in a high-temperature and oxygen-containing environment for a long time, it can still maintain good performance.
