Product Description

H-type silicon carbide rod

Before installing and using the silicon carbide rod, check the resistance (Ω) value marked on the cold end. If the handwriting is unclear, it must be retested. The testing method is to measure the voltage and current of the silicon carbide rod when it is heated to a high temperature of 1050 ℃, and calculate the resistance according to Ohm's law. The testing principle is shown in the following figure.

When using silicon carbide rods, each group of rods should be equipped with high-temperature resistance matching resistors. The allowable difference in the electrical value of the matching resistors is: for rods with a diameter of ≥ 12mm, the allowable difference in resistance value is ≤ 0.2 Ω; for rods with a diameter of ≤ 8mm, the allowable difference in resistance value is ≤ 0.5 Ω.
